Lawrence J. Scherer, Esq., CPA, LL.M., is the Managing Member of the law firm of SCHERER & PUDELL, PLLC, and is a practicing Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney in Garden City, New York. Holder of a CPA license since 1985, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1989 and his LL.M., in Taxation from the Graduate Law Division of New York University School of Law in 1991.

Larry graduated from The American University, in Washington, D.C. with a Business Administration degree with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. He received his formal training at a prestigious medium size accounting firm in New York City.

Philip Kanyuk

Mr Kanyuk is partner in charge of the Business Valuation and commercial Damages Department at Nussbaum Berg Klein & Wolpow CPAs, LLP. Mr. Kanyuk is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers and Accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensics from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Kanyuk is also qualified by the State of NY Unified Court System to serve as Accountant to Receiver pursuant to NYS Part 36. Mr. Kanyuk specializes in investigative and forensic accounting services for the public and private sector, he also provides services relative to damage calculations and business valuations in the litigation area.
